About Terrazzo

Terrazzo is a composite material which can be poured in place or precast.  It is used as a finish material on floors, steps, walls and various other applications. It consists of marble, quartz, granite, glass or other suitable chips, sprinkled or unsprinkled, and poured with a binder that is cementitious, chemical or a combination of both. Terrazzo is cured, ground and polished to a smooth surface or otherwise finished to produce a uniformly textured surface.

Terrazzo is a beautiful, durable and safe flooring system.  In addition, maintenance on this type of floor is cost efficient.  Terrazzo can be installed in an infinite number of designs, patterns, and colors.  It provides a monolithic surface without any seams or grout joints, making it ideal for any institutional or public building.  Given the inherent flexibility of the product, patterns, logos, and mascots are ideal in this flooring system.  Terrazzo can also be used for countertops, columns, wallbase and caps.
